The No. 31 Arkansas Razorbacks could not duplicate their hot-shooting back nine at the University of Texas Golf Club on Tuesday and fell back a spot to fifth place after two rounds of the NCAA Austin Regional.
The Razorbacks carded a 7-over 291 for the day, led by junior Mason Overstreet, and are at 5 over with one round remaining in the 54-hole event.
Arkansas leads No. 7 Southern California by five shots for the final qualifying spot. The Trojans made up three strokes on the Razorbacks, who were even par on the back nine after firing a 5 under on the back on Monday.
