FAYETTEVILLE — On Andrew Armstrong’s 41st catch of the season, the sixth-year Arkansas wide receiver scored his first touchdown.
Armstrong broke free and hauled in a pass from Taylen Green for a 25-yard touchdown play to pull the Razorback within 13-7 with 8:25 left in the second quarter of the No. 8 Tigers’ 34-10 victory Saturday night at Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
Despite missing the opener against Arkansas-Pine Bluff because of as he continued to recover from a hamstring injury, Armstrong came into Saturday night’s game leading the Razorbacks with 38 receptions for 552 yards, but he had yet to score.
