The 2015-16 NCAA Football season is fast approaching, but the Arkansas Razorbacks continue to look to future seasons as well. On July 29, Deon Edwards verbally committed to the University of Arkansas. Edwards is a 3 star safety recruit from Lake Minneola, Florida who visited the university on June 5. He had offers from several other schools, including SEC opponents South Carolina and Missouri, but chose Arkansas for his future. Edwards is Arkansas’ 12th 2016 commitment and the first defensive back.
While many may look no further than his ranking, the fact that these universities were interested shows he has got talent.
