FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas walk-on linebacker Brooks Yurachek has entered the NCAA transfer portal.
On3.com reported the news Sunday, one day after the portal closed. A spokesman for the Razorbacks confirmed the news.
Yurachek, 6-1 and 225 pounds, transferred to Arkansas prior to this season after redshirting his true freshman season at Wake Forest. The former Fayetteville High School standout has three seasons of eligibility remaining.
Yurachek played in two games for the Razorbacks — the 70-0 season-opening victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff and the 39-26 victory over Texas Tech at the Liberty Bowl on Friday. He did not record statistics in either game and played a total of 11 snaps, mostly on special teams, according to Pro Football Focus.
