Playing against one of college football’s worst defenses, Arkansas recorded its most lopsided road victory Saturday since its first game in the league 32 years ago.
The Razorbacks gained 673 yards and scored on 10 possessions during a 58-25 victory over Mississippi State in front of an announced attendance of 49,303 at Davis Wade Stadium.
The 33-point margin of victory was just shy of the 38-point margin when Arkansas defeated South Carolina 45-7 in the teams’ first conference game as SEC members Sept. 12, 1992.
The Razorbacks also tied their most points scored in regulation of an SEC game.
