COLUMBIA, Mo. — Arkansas star defensive end Landon Jackson was carted off the field on a stretcher late in the first half of a game against Missouri on Saturday at Faurot Field.
Jackson appeared to collide with teammate Doneiko Slaughter as the two combined for a tackle on a rush by Missouri running back Jamal Roberts with 1:07 remaining in the second quarter. He absorbed contact to his head and neck area.
After the play, Jackson fell prone his stomach, where he laid for an extended time. While in that position, he moved each his left and right leg one at a time.
