Bret Bielema announced at his weekly press conference that Arkansas junior defensive back Kevin Richardson will miss the rest of the 2016 season with a torn pectoral muscle suffered during the game against Louisiana Tech.
Richardson had surgery on Monday and the rehab is expected to take around four months.
Richardson started on defense for Arkansas against the Bulldogs and made seven tackles, tied for most on the team. In 2015, Richardson played in all 13 games and started five times. He came to Arkansas as a walk-on but earned a scholarship prior to the 2015 season.
