The Arkansas women’s basketball team committed 26 turnovers in a Jan. 8 loss to LSU in Fayetteville, and the Razorbacks didn’t fare much better while turning it over 22 times on Sunday in Baton Rouge.
LSU held Arkansas to three points in the game’s final eight minutes to defeat the Razorbacks 53-46 at Maravich Assembly Center.
Arkansas (13-8, 206) led twice in the fourth quarter, the last time coming after an Aaliyah Wilson three-pointer gave the Razorbacks a 43-41 lead with 8:08 left.
Jailyn Mason missed a jumper that would have extended Arkansas’ lead, the Razorbacks missed five shots and committed sevens turnovers over the final 7:02.
