FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas gymnastics coach Jordyn Wieber has been elected to the USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame.
Wieber was an all-around gold medalist and won a silver medal in the floor exercise at the 2012 Olympics in London. She also won all-around gold, and bronze in the balance beam at the 2011 World Championships.
Wieber, 25, is the youngest member of this year's six-member hall of fame class. Others elected to the hall of fame are former gymnasts Morgan Hamm and Bridget Sloan, coaches Mary Wright and Yoichi Tomita, and Nora Campbell, a former rhythmic program director for USA Gymnastics.
