Arkansas coach Pittman tests positive for covid-19

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas football coach Sam Pittman tested positive for covid-19 Sunday, according to a statement from the Razorbacks.

Pittman was asymptomatic and was tested again Monday to confirm the positive diagnosis, and the results of that test are pending. Pittman is quarantining at his home.

According to a statement, anyone who is considered a close contact of Pittman will also quarantine. Pittman will continue to participate in team meetings virtually.

Defensive coordinator Barry Odom will serve as Arkansas' interim head coach while Pittman is in isolation, including potentially for the Razorbacks' scheduled game at No.
