FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas cornerback LaDarrius Bishop will miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury, coach Sam Pittman said Monday.
Bishop, a redshirt senior, has not played since Arkansas’ 44-30 victory over South Carolina on Sept. 10. Pittman said Bishop had cartilage repaired in his knee and will require three to four months of recovery.
He has one season of eligibility remaining.
“It was loose and they were able to sew it back in there and repair it,” Pittman said, “so that’s what we wanted to do for him.”
Bishop struggled during the season opener against Cincinnati when he was the nearest defender on two long passes, including one for a touchdown.
