No. 15 LSU rallied from a 9-1 deficit to defeat Arkansas, 10-9, in 10 innings in SEC baseball Saturday night at Alex Box Stadium.
Tucker Pennell singled four times to lead a 15-hit Arkansas attack, but LSU scored five unearned runs in the ninth inning against Arkansas reliever Blaine Knight.
The Tigers won the five-hour game with an unearned run in the 10th. Clark Eagan's throw to third got away from Cody Scroggins for the fourth Arkansas error of the game to allow Jake Fraley to score.
Arkansas reliever Josh Alberius, the fifth pitcher of the night, allowed a one-out double to Fraley in the 10th inning.
