Arkansas scored the first 8 points of the game, but the Razorbacks could not maintain it in a 69-61 loss on the road at No. 8 Texas A&M on Saturday.

Arkansas (15-10, 4-8 SEC) went to College Station, Texas, hoping to secure a resume-boosting win against a ranked opponent. And early on, the Razorbacks looked like they just might pull it off with the 8-0 start.

But ultimately Arkansas committed far too many mistakes and had far too many scoring droughts to knock off the Aggies (20-5, 9-3).

The Razorbacks committed 17 turnovers that led to 22 Texas A&M points.
