FAYETTEVILLE — Boogie Fland held his follow through, stuck out his tongue and then flashed a smile Wednesday night inside Bud Walton Arena.
The freshman guard had just knocked down a corner three-pointer, capping a 7-0 run for the Razorbacks in a span of 35 seconds. The sequence created separation midway through the second half, something Arkansas needed after Troy had pulled within 41-38.
The Razorbacks (2-1) capitalized on the momentum and never let the Trojans get closer than 9 points again en route to a 65-49 victory.
“It's disappointing that it turned out to be a 16 point game, because I thought we [played] better than that,” Troy coach Scott Cross said.
