Arkansas basketball to play Duke on Thanksgiving in Chicago

FAYETTEVILLE — The Arkansas men's basketball team will play Duke Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27, at United Center in Chicago, the Razorbacks announced Thursday.

CBS will televise the game that has a scheduled tip-off time of 7 p.m.

It will be the second consecutive season in which coach John Calipari's team will play on Thanksgiving. Arkansas lost 90-77 to Illinois on Nov. 28, 2024, in Kansas City.

With an average of 5.1 million viewers on CBS, the Arkansas-Illinois game was the second-most watched regular-season men's college basketball game since 2008.

The only game during that time with higher viewership was the 2023 Thanksgiving game between Arizona and Michigan State on FOX.
