Arkansas basketball thumps Maryland-Eastern Shore by 74 points

FAYETTEVILLE — The Arkansas men’s basketball team won in historic fashion Monday night at Bud Walton Arena.

The 19th-ranked Razorbacks (5-1) used a 28-0 run in the first half to take a 45-point halftime lead (60-15), tied for the largest in program history, and breezed past Maryland-Eastern Shore for a 109-35 victory.

The 74-point victory tied the third largest in program history, matching that of an 81-7 win over Ozark Athletic Club during the 1925-26 season.

It was the largest since defeating Mississippi Valley State 142-62 in November 2020.

Arkansas won its fourth consecutive game, the longest win streak since early in the 2022-23 season.
