Arkansas freshman guard Boogie Fland took over at closing time Tuesday at Miami.
Fland scored 7 points in the final 2:25, helping the Razorbacks rally for a 76-73 victory over the Hurricanes at Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Fla. The game was played as part of the SEC/ACC Challenge.
Arkansas (6-2) won its first power conference game after falling to No. 15 Baylor and No. 19 Illinois at neutral-site games in November. Tuesday’s game was the Razorbacks’ first true road contest under first-year coach John Calipari.
“It’s my first year, trying to establish a culture, a new team, young kids,” Calipari said.
