FAYETTEVILLE — December was good to the Arkansas basketball team.
The 23rd-ranked Razorbacks ended the month on a high note Monday when they defeated Oakland 92-62 at Bud Walton Arena. It was the sixth consecutive victory for Arkansas (11-2), a streak that began with a comeback win at Miami on Dec. 3.
It is the Razorbacks’ longest win streak since the 2022-23 team won seven nonconference games in a row.
The win streak will be put to the test Saturday when Arkansas travels to top-ranked Tennessee for a noon Central game to open SEC play. Oakland (4-10) was the Razorbacks’ final scheduled nonconference opponent.
