FAYETTEVILLE — The 10th-seeded Arkansas men’s basketball team is set to begin its NCAA Tournament campaign at 6:10 p.m. Central on Thursday in Providence, R.I., against 7th-seeded Kansas.
It will be the third time the Razorbacks and Jayhawks meet in the NCAA Tournament. Arkansas won 72-71 in the 2023 second round and Kansas won 93-81 in the 1991 Elite Eight.
Thursday will also mark the third time coaches John Calipari and Bill Self have met in the tournament but the first outside the national championship game. Calipari’s Kentucky beat the Jayhawks 67-59 in 2012 and Self bested Memphis 75-68 in overtime in 2008.
