FAYETTEVILLE — Down 63-62 with 24 seconds and two timeouts remaining, the best shot Arkansas could get was an off-balance, hurried reverse layup in a 65-62 loss to Oklahoma on Saturday.
Arkansas had possession in the final 24.7 seconds after the Sooners were called for an offensive foul. The Razorbacks called a timeout, then called a second timeout with 12.6 seconds left, and still could not get a clear shot.
The hero of Wednesday night's come-from-behind win against Georgia, Adou Thiero, did not touch the ball on the final possession and took only 4 shots in the game.
