FAYETTEVILLE — As the snow melted outside Bud Walton Arena, it appeared the Arkansas basketball team might also thaw from its recent chilly conditions.
But after a blistering start, the Razorbacks’ offensive struggles quickly resumed during a 71-63 loss to eighth-ranked Florida on Saturday afternoon in front of a raucous, sold-out home crowd.
Arkansas shot a season-low 30% with an 18-of-60 performance against the long, athletic Gators (15-1, 2-1 SEC).
Florida recorded its second strong defensive effort after holding top-ranked Tennessee to 12-of-56 shooting (21%) during a 73-43 victory Tuesday.
Arkansas (11-5, 0-3) has lost its first three conference games for the first time since 2021-22.
