The Razorbacks came close, but ultimately the top-ranked Tigers proved too much down the stretch in a 67-60 win at Neville Arena.
Arkansas (15-11, 4-9 SEC) will look back at this game as yet another this season in which victory was within its grasp only to see it slip away at the end.
The Razorbacks battled back from a 54-45 deficit with 6:29 left, outscoring Auburn 13-3 to take their first lead, 58-57, since early in the first half on a driving layup by Nelly Davis with 3:06 left, silencing the home crowd.
