COLUMBIA, S.C. — There was a simple message for the Arkansas men’s basketball team when entering the locker room following its 86-81 overtime win over Texas on Wednesday.
Get Adou Thiero on the phone.
The Razorbacks’ leading scorer and rebounder at 15.6 points and 6 rebounds missed the NCAA Tournament bubble matchup with a hyperextended left knee. He also left the 92-85 win over Missouri last Saturday with back issues, Arkansas coach John Calipari initially said.
There is no announced timeline for his return.
Thiero was elsewhere getting a second opinion on his knee but was welcomed via FaceTime into the postgame celebrations.
