The Arkansas basketball team strengthened its NCAA Tournament outlook Tuesday night with a complete performance from a shorthanded roster in Nashville, Tenn.
The Razorbacks wiped away a 9-point first half deficit and maintained a double-digit lead for most of the second half for a 90-77 victory at Vanderbilt.
The win snapped a three-game road losing streak for Arkansas (18-12, 7-10 SEC) and tacked a fifth Quadrant 1 victory onto its tournament resume.
The Commodores (20-10, 8-9) entered ranked No. 37 in the NCAA’s NET Rankings.
Playing with a seven-man rotation for the third consecutive game, Arkansas avoided serious foul trouble, finished at the rim consistently and got balanced scoring across the lineup.
