FAYETTEVILLE — The third-ranked Arkansas baseball team has the best 25-game start in program history with the highest-scoring offense of the Dave Van Horn era.
The Razorbacks defeated South Carolina 11-4 on Sunday to sweep a weekend series in front of an announced crowd of 9,367 at Baum-Walker Stadium.
Arkansas (23-2, 5-1 SEC) won its fifth conference game in a row and seventh consecutive game overall. This is the first Razorback team to win 23 of its first 25 games.
A victory Saturday matched Arkansas’ best 24-game start with the 1982 team that included Van Horn as a junior second baseman.
