FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas baseball’s Opening Day will include a doubleheader.
The fifth-ranked Razorbacks are scheduled to play their season opener against Washington State on Friday at noon. The second game will begin approximately 45 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. Both will be 9-inning games, but will include a run rule of 10 after 7 innings.
The teams are also scheduled to play Saturday at 2 p.m. and Monday at noon. A game scheduled for Sunday was moved to Friday because of below-freezing temperatures in the forecast.
There is also a 60% chance of rain in Fayetteville on Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.
