FAYETTEVILLE — Friday night SEC pitching did not cool the bats of the third-ranked Arkansas baseball team.
The Razorbacks had 15 hits — their most in an SEC game since 2023 — and defeated South Carolina 12-2 in 7 innings before an announced crowd of 10,023 at Baum-Walker Stadium.
Arkansas (21-2, 3-1 SEC) matched its best 23-game start since 1982 and improved to 17-0 at home.
Shortstop Wehiwa Aloy hit a 3-run home run 370 feet to right field to cap a 5-run seventh and initiate the Razorbacks’ ninth run-rule victory of the season.
It was the first time Arkansas won an SEC home game via the 10-run rule that was instituted for regular-season conference games in 2023.
