Arkansas left-handed relief pitcher Parker Coil is listed as out on the SEC’s updated availability report for Sunday’s game at Vanderbilt.
Coil appeared to warm up during the Razorbacks’ 6-4 victory over the Commodores in 10 innings Saturday, but did not enter the game. He has not pitched in a game since last Sunday when he threw 2 scoreless innings against South Carolina.
Coil was listed as probable on the initial availability report for the Vanderbilt series Thursday, just as he was a week ago against South Carolina. Last Friday, Arkansas coach Dave Van Horn declined to discuss the reason for Coil’s inclusion on the availability report for the South Carolina series.
