FAYETTEVILLE — Logan Maxwell started in right field Tuesday during fourth-ranked Arkansas' 14-3 victory in 7 innings over Grambling State, his first time in the field this year.
The senior transfer from TCU has been dealing with a hamstring injury since the preseason and he has started at designated hitter four times.
Arkansas coach Dave Van Horn said on the Razorback Sports Network pregame radio show that Maxwell’s hamstring was improving and he hoped starting in the field would help him “get a little rhythm” and hit better.
