FAYETTEVILLE — With the game-ending run 90 feet from home plate, Mother Nature intervened Tuesday evening at Baum-Walker Stadium.
A lightning strike to the south that was visible from the stadium halted a game between Arkansas and ULM in the seventh inning, and poor field conditions caused the game to be postponed until Wednesday at 2 p.m.
The third-ranked Razorbacks led the Warhawks 10-1 at the time the game was delayed at 5:14 p.m. About 20 minutes later the game was officially suspended.
When play resumes, Nolan Souza will be at third base and Cam Kozeal at second with no outs for the Razorbacks, and Wehiwa Aloy at the plate.
