FAYETTEVILLE — The fifth-ranked Arkansas baseball team completed a sweep of Washington State on Monday with a 12-2 win in 7 innings at Baum-Walker Stadium.
It was the second run-rule victory for the Razorbacks (4-0), who won 14-2 in 7 innings in the second game of Friday’s doubleheader.
Left-handed starting pitcher Landon Beidelschies, a transfer from Ohio State, threw 5 innings, the fourth straight starter to do so for the Razorbacks. He gave up 4 hits, 1 earned run, 1 walk, and struck out 7 in his debut.
Arkansas had 1 hit through 3 innings, but plated 5 runs in the fourth and 6 in the fifth to break the game open.
