FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas continued its great recruiting in the month of July on Thursday by adding one of Oklahoma’s best.
Oklahoma City, Okla., Putnam City defensive end Collin Clay (6-5, 255) committed to Arkansas over Florida, Georgia, Oregon, Oklahoma State, Michigan, North Carolina, TCU, Iowa State, Minnesota, Colorado, Duke, Tulsa and others.
He had narrowed his 21 offers down to a top five of Arkansas, Georgia, Oklahoma State, TCU and Oregon on June 3.
Clay is a four-star prospect, per Rivals, a three-star, per ESPN, 24/7 and Scout, and is the sixth-best player in Oklahoma, according to The Oklahoman’s Super 30.
