FAYETTEVILLE — Saginaw Valley (Mich.) State was able to do what SEC football teams have not — shut out Andrew Armstrong.
Armstrong, a sixth-year wide receiver for Arkansas, has caught at least two passes in all 12 SEC games as a Razorback since transferring from Texas A&M-Commerce last year.
Going back to the 2021 season, Armstrong has caught at least 1 pass in 34 consecutive games, with multiple receptions in 29 in a row.
When Saginaw Valley State beat Texas A&M-Commerce 20-17 in overtime on Oct. 9, 2021, in a matchup of NCAA Division II teams, Armstrong was targeted twice, but didn’t have a catch.
