FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas quarterback Brandon Allen struggled in the team's first scrimmage of the preseason Saturday.
Allen completed 10 of 23 passes for 108 yards and had an interception returned for a touchdown during the scrimmage at Razorback Stadium. Allen worked exclusively with the first-team offense.
The senior was off target several times throughout the scrimmage. His longest completion was a 43-yarder to Jared Cornelius after a pair of defenders collided trying to cover the receiver near the line of scrimmage.
Allen overthrew a receiver early in the scrimmage and had the pass intercepted by freshman cornerback Ryan Pulley, who returned the interception 41 yards for a touchdown.
