FAYETTEVILLE — Brandon Allen rebounded from a sluggish first scrimmage with a better one Saturday at Razorback Stadium.
Allen completed 17 of 22 passes for 245 yards and 4 touchdowns, and was intercepted twice while playing against the Razorbacks' second-team defense. Statistics reflect plays during the portion of the scrimmage where tackling was allowed.
Allen hit several targets on long passing plays, recording seven completions of at least 17 yards. He threw three touchdowns during red zone work and capped a long scoring drive with a touchdown pass on third-and-goal.
He completed his first four passes of the scrimmage before throwing interceptions on two consecutive plays.
