Maybe Arkansas just needs more rain.
A 15-hour day Saturday ended with just one game on the books, and even it was resumed from Friday. But once game two restarted Sunday afternoon and game three began later in the evening, it was clear that seven-run defeat in the first game of the series was a thing of the past.
The Diamond Hogs scored six unanswered runs after the resumption of game two to win 9-8. Two batters into the finale, play was halted for rain again, though when it resumed Arkansas ran off six runs in the first inning on its way to an 8-2 win.
