A lot has changed since Diamond Hogs lost this often

FAYETTEVILLE — Alabama's sweep of Arkansas extended the Razorbacks' losing streak to nine games Sunday.

It is the longest losing streak by the baseball team since it lost 12 straight in 1965, when the program did not resemble its current stature.

Bill Ferrell was in his final season as Arkansas' coach. Norm DeBriyn was a second-year coach at Hortonville High School in Wisconsin and five years away from becoming the Razorbacks' coach. Arkansas played at the Washington County Fairgrounds and was 10 years away from moving into George Cole Field.

Here is a snapshot of what the world looked like the last time Arkansas lost at least nine consecutive games:

-Mike Anderson was five years old, Dave Van Horn was four years old and Bret Bielema had not been born yet.
