Six Arkansas football players were named to Phil Steele’s preseason All-SEC team on Tuesday.
Senior running back Rakeem Boyd highlights the group as a second-team selection, and sophomore receiver Treylon Burks received third-team recognition. Senior center Ty Clary, junior linebacker Bumper Pool, senior receiver De’Vion Warren and senior long snapper Jordan Silver were listed on the fourth team.
Boyd, Warren and Silver landed on Steele’s fourth team last season.
A native of Houston, Boyd has led the Razorbacks in rushing each of the last two seasons. He rushed for 1,133 yards and eight touchdowns in 2019, surpassing the 1,000-yard mark against Western Kentucky in early November.
