FAYETTEVILLE — A handful of u200bu200bu200bu200bu200bthoughts and observations from Arkansas' 31-28 win over Mississippi State on Saturday:
• KJ Jefferson is cool under pressure
If we have learned anything this season about the Razorbacks’ starting quarterback when it comes to late-game situations, it’s that he is unfazed by the moment. After Arkansas' defense gave up a go-ahead touchdown to Mississippi State with 2:22 left in the fourth quarter, he commanded the offense in impressive fashion, stepped up and led a game-winning drive.
It is the second time in the last month we have watched Jefferson's poise pop with the ball in his hands with a game in the balance.
