Arkansas made the cut for 4-star small forward Keon Ambrose-Hylton for several reasons, including his respect for Razorbacks coach Eric Musselman.
“I like the new coach. Great community, and I like their fast-pace game,” Ambrose said.
Ambrose, 6-8, 195 pounds, of Willoughby (Ohio) Andrews Osborne Academy, narrowed his list of schools to Arkansas, Arizona State, California, Clemson, Florida, Dayton, Illinois, St. Louis, Virginia Commonwealth and Virginia Tech on Monday.
He received his offer from Arkansas on Aug. 8. He pointed out why he respects Musselman.
“I like his coaching style from the NBA. ... Very respectable, highly regarded, family oriented,” Ambrose said.
