B.J. Hanspard, the son of former Texas Tech All-America running back Byron Hanspard, announced Wednesday via Twitter that he has committed to Arkansas. He chose the Razorbacks over LSU, Oklahoma State, TCU and Texas Tech.

Hanspard (6 feet 0, 170 pounds) plays wide receiver and cornerback for DeSoto (Texas) High. He’s considered one of the top-25 athletes nationally as well as a top-40 prospect overall in Texas.
