Defensive lineman Ari Slocum committed to the Arkansas football program Monday.
Slocum became the second defensive lineman in the 2026 class to pledge to the Razorbacks. He joined 4-star defensive end Colton Yarbrough.
Slocum, 6-4 and 300 pounds, of Farmerville, (La.) Union Parish, chose the Razorbacks over Missouri, Houston, Purdue and others.
He and his mother visited Arkansas on Jan. 11 for Junior Day, which resulted in Slocum receiving an offer from the Razorbacks.
Slocum, who played primarily at tight end as a junior, recorded 5 catches for 108 yards and 1 touchdown. He also had 42 pancake blocks.
