FAYETTEVILLE — Two Arkansas players landed on the 2020 preseason All-SEC softball team on Wednesday.
Junior outfielder Hannah McEwen and senior pitcher Autumn Storms were selected to the 14-player team by the conference’s head coaches. Arkansas was one of three programs with two representatives. Alabama led the way with three.
McEwen finished her sophomore year as the SEC’s regular-season hits leader (73), earning first team All-SEC honors. She was one of two Razorbacks to start all 58 games and became the first player in program history to hit .400 or better in the regular season.
McEwen recorded 12 doubles, one triple, two home runs and drove in 26 in 2019.
