Two former Arkansas golfers will play the weekend at The Masters.
Alvaro Ortiz is even par and Andrew Landry is 1-over par through 36 holes at Augusta National. Ortiz is tied for 36th, seven shots back of first. Landry is tied for 46th.
Ortiz, 23, shot 1-under 71 on Friday with an eagle, three birdies and four bogeys. He is tied with nine others, including two-time Masters champion Bubba Watson and the world's No. 3 player, Rory McIlroy.
Ortiz was 3-over through Amen Corner on Friday, but closed strong with a birdie on the par-4 14th, an eagle on the par-5 15th and birdie on the par-4 18th.
