The Arkansas Razorbacks have their fair share of impact talents to work with on their road to College Football Playoff glory in 2015, and these next guys are the biggest assets of all. Here's our list of the 6 Best Arkansas Football Players For 2015:
6) LB Brooks Ellis, Jr.
The 6-2, 237-pounder finished second on the team with 72 tackles even though he two games with a knee injury. One of the quicker linebackers in teh SEC, he’s a pure hitter who is solid in pass coverage.
5) QB Brandon Allen, Sr.
The 6-2, 210-pound Allen is a secondary weapon in Arkansas' offense behind their two stud running backs, but he is still the SEC's most experienced quarterback. He completing 56% of his throws last year, but only threw five interceptions. He doesn't really have any mobility, but his role will continue to expand this year.
4) OT Denver Kirkland, Jr.
The All-SEC performer started all 13 games at right guard last season, but is capable of playing all five positions on the line. Becasue of that, he’s going to move to the outside and play left tackle this year, where the coaching staff is hoping to make the most of his quick feet.
3) TE Hunter Henry, Jr.
Henry, a 6-5, 250-pound receiver runs great routes, has excellent hands, but is an excellent blocker as well. He caught 37 passes for 513 yards and two touchdowns despite Arkansas' lackluster passing attack. He has excellent football IQ and is a great targer for Allen over the middle of the field.
2) RB Alex Collins, Jr.
The 5-11, 224-pounder has the size, quickness, toughness, and strength that make him one of the nation's most talented running backs. Despite splitting carries with Jonathan Williams all season, Collins still carried the ball 204 times for 1,100 yards and 12 touchdowns, averaging 5.39 yards per carry. He may be more talented than Williams (more on him in a second), but he still gets a slightly smaller workload.
1) RB Jonathan Williams, Sr.
Even with Alex Collins on the roster, Williams' was the leading rusher last season with 1,190 yards and 12 touchdowns on 211 carries. At 6-0 and 224 pounds, he has an elite combination of size and speed that makes him extremely tough to tackle. He does need to prove he can make an impact in the passing game, but the senior is one of the country's most feared backs.
