UALR Coach Wes Flanigan already was concerned about his team's defense when it went to play Central Arkansas two weeks ago.
Then his Trojans allowed the Bears to shoot 50 percent from the floor and twice rally from 12-point deficits to force overtime. Marcus Johnson Jr. scored six points in overtime, which allowed the Trojans to escape the Farris Center with an 89-87 victory.
"Obviously, that night we got really exposed," Flanigan said.
Flanigan has been pleased with his team defensively at times since then, but UALR (7-2) will get to gauge progress against UCA (1-7) when the teams meet again at 3 p.
