Andre Jones, a sophomore guard and the leading scorer on the University of Arkansas at Little Rock men's basketball team, has been dismissed from the team "due to conduct detrimental to the program," Coach Wes Flanigan said in a statement Monday.
Jones, who averaged 12.3 points per game for the Trojans, was ejected during UALR's 81-51 loss to Georgia State on Saturday after a verbal exchange with an official.
The university said there would be no further comment by Flanigan at this time.
Jones started in 22 of 24 games at UALR (5-19, 2-9 Sun Belt Conference) this season.
