The UALR women's basketball team had won nine consecutive games thanks to a suffocating defense and an offense led by experienced post players.
Early on against Texas-Arlington on Thursday night, not even the inside was a place UALR could go for points.
But Shanity James, Kaitlyn Pratt and Keanna Keys did just enough on offense for the Trojans to squeak out a 49-43 victory at the Jack Stephens Center, extending their winning streak to a season-long 10 games.
The Trojans (15-11, 13-4) shot 27.7 percent from the floor, and their three guards were a combined 5 of 24 from the floor.
