STARKVILLE, Miss. – Breya Clark broke the triple jump record and Ka'Neisha Jackson topped her own 400m hurdles record as Little Rock saw two school records fall on the final day of the Maroon and White Invitational hosted by Mississippi State on Saturday.
Clark's triple jump mark of 40-9.5 (12.43m) broke the school record by over 2.5 feet as she placed second in the meet. Her mark ranks her in the top 60 on the NCAA West Prelims performance list, moving her within 10 spots of an NCAA prelims qualifying mark (it was announced Friday that the qualifying list was expanded back to the normal 48 individuals per event).
