NEW ORLEANS – Little Rock will have to wait a little longer for its next women's basketball game. The Trojans' trip to New Orleans for the Tulane Classic has been canceled due to multiple positive cases of COVID-19 within the Tulane program.
As a result, Tulane has temporarily shut down its women's basketball program and was forced to cancel the four-team tournament that included Little Rock, Tulane, Bradley and Texas Southern. Little Rock was scheduled to open play in New Orleans against Bradley, a team that reached the NCAA Tournament last season.
Now the Trojans will now focus their efforts on rebounding from the influenza that forced the cancelation of the Alabama game and preparing for the start of conference play on Dec.
